The Media tab is where all the images, videos, and audio you’ve added to a project live. From here you can rename assets, see what’s in use, and reconnect any files that have gone missing.
Adding media
Drag and drop files onto the Media tab, or use the import button. Supported file types are PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, WebP, MP4, WebM, MP3 and WAV.
Relinking missing media
If a file has been moved, renamed, or deleted on your computer since it was added, H2R Graphics can no longer find it. When you open the Media tab, any of these files are flagged with a yellow File missing warning in place of the thumbnail.
To reconnect it:
- Click the Relink button next to the flagged file.
- Choose the replacement file from your computer.
The file is reconnected and any graphics using it refresh automatically, in both the preview and your outputs. You don’t need to restart the app or re-add the graphic.
Tip: Relinking is the quickest way to recover a project after moving it to a new computer, or after reorganising the folders your media lives in.
Notes
- Relinking works for images, videos, and audio.
- Individual frames that are part of an image sequence can’t be relinked on their own.
